Hintertux is a village located at the end of Tuxer valley, jointing to Zillertal (Ziller valley) from west.
On the south west side of the village, a large glacier area can always be seen; Tuxer glacier, where you can enjoy summer skiing.
It takes about 2.5 hours from Munich to reach the village.

You have to take three rope ways one after the other to reach the 3000m height.
It is really amazing to look for animals (alpine marmots) between the first and second station of the rope way.
